Toby is an Australian Shepherd that was born with a physical deformity. The former stray has a nose that is split in the middle. The growth makes it look like he has two noses.
The dog was found wandering around Fresno, California, and was brought to a local shelter. Despite being a very sweet and gentle dog, the shelter staff decided to put him on the kill list because they thought that he was unadoptable. His odd and unique look may deter any potential adopter.
Fortunately for him, a kind man with an affinity for the strange found the dog and took Toby in.

Todd Ray is the owner of the Venice Beach Freakshow. It is a performance and curiosity establishment that features what some people may consider as freaks. Their acts and collection of oddities became so popular that a TV show was created for it.
When Todd learned about Toby, he quickly set out to save him. He already has a wide collection of two-headed animals, and he wanted to add Toby to it as well.
He is in the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest collection of two-headed animals.
Beloved pet
Toby isn’t just a part of the show. He is also Todd’s beloved pet. He lives with him and gets to enjoy a lot of pampering. He doesn’t stay in the show’s facility and only visits when Todd goes there. And because the dog is sweet and playful, everybody in the Venice Beach Freakshow family adores him.
More importantly, his condition doesn’t affect his health. His twin nostrils are working perfectly fine. According to Todd, the adorable dog is very active and loves to play with his other pets. Toby wakes up every day knowing that he will have lots of fun.
