Sometimes, the smallest ones can cause the biggest troubles. A few weeks ago, a two-day-old puppy from the neighborhood of Beenleigh in Queensland, Australia, got everyone in his family worried after he got himself stuck down the pipe of their bathroom.

The unfortunate incident happened while the baby dog, his mom, and his littermates were resting in the bathroom of their owner’s house. Suddenly, the cover of the drain that was located in the middle of the room accidentally popped off. Unfortunately, two of the puppies slid down the pipe before their human could fix the issue.

🐶🐶🐶PUPPY IN A DRAIN!!!🐶🐶🐶Yes you read correct Puppy in Drain! 😳😳😳We initially thought this was a prank call but it turned out to be legit. This lady rang at around 10pm last night panicking and said, “my puppy has fallen down the floor drain and is stuck!”. It is nothing short of a miracle that it has survived being stuck down the drain for over 60mins. We were able to use our CCTV camera to locate the puppy in the drain so we knew where to cut and not cause any harm. Check out our next video to see how it came out safely. For all your plumbing and drainage needs contact The Brisbane Plumbers 📞1300576388Or visit our website 🌎https://thebrisbaneplumbers.com.au 👨‍🏭 we have an emergency plumber on call providing a after hours service 24/7 👨‍🏭

According to reports, the puppies’ owner was able to get a hold of one of the puppies through its tail. She grabbed the pup and took it out of the pipe. However, the other one slid farther down and got caught in the pipeline’s bend.

The owner freaked out and immediately contacted a plumber for help. At first, Joseph Egan, from The Brisbane Plumbers, thought that it was a prank call. However, he soon realized that it wasn’t. Egan said that he could tell from the voice of the panicked owner that she wasn’t lying.

🐶😳🐶PUPPY RESCUE!!!🐶😳🐶This puppy fell down the floor drain in the bathroom and got stuck on the outlet side of the gully 😳 We were fortunate to locate the puppy in the drain and cut out the section of pipe it was stuck in. We were unable to pull it out by its feet so we had shake the pipe in a downward action in order for it to slide out. It was pretty amazing that this little fella lasted over an hour in the drain and still managed to survive. The litter of puppies were only 2 days old and did not have names yet. The kids wanted to call it ‘Lucky’ but the Dad said it would be called ‘Dollars’ because in his words “This puppy has cost me a shit load of money”. Although he did say it was money well spent 😂😂😂For all your plumbing and drainage needs contact The Brisbane Plumbers 📞1300576388Or visit our website 🌎https://thebrisbaneplumbers.com.au 👨‍🏭 we have an emergency plumber on call providing a after hours service 24/7 👨‍🏭

When Egan arrived at the scene, he sent a small camera down the tube to know where the puppy was. After determining the dog’s location, Egan cut out the section that contained the pup and gently shook the tiny little pooch out of the tight confines. The puppy let out little yelps, but, thankfully, he did not sustain any injury.

Egan has been working as a plumber for 12 years, but this was the very first time that he rescued a puppy in a pipe. According to him, this was quite a unique situation. He thought that it was a miracle that the little pup survived. Because of the ordeal, the baby dog’s family decided to name him Troopie. They said that he was such a trooper when he was stuck inside the pipe.
