A Samoyed named Archie loved to go on long walks. But as soon as he sees a cat on the streets, he stops and swoons. He seems to lose his ability to walk when there’s a feline around, so his dad would have to pick him up for them to move on.

Archie has always been obsessed with cats. At doggy daycare, he spends at least an hour watching them. He wants to play with them but he knows he can’t, so he resolves to stare at them for as long as he wants.

Eventually, a family friend asked TJ and Mia, Archie’s mom, if they wanted to adopt a cat. They were a little hesitant but they took the chance and brought home B, a Calico.

For a few days, Archie and B had to be in separate rooms because he was so hyped. He wanted to play with her right away but she wasn’t ready to interact with anyone yet. He was all over her, but she wanted him to leave her alone.

The dog spent several days asking the cat for permission to let him stay on the bed with her. He was insistent but he was patient. Eventually, he got what he wanted when and started snuggling with her.

There were times when B acted a little fierce toward her brother but she has since learned to tolerate him. She has accepted that he will always be there. Slowly, she warmed up to him and started reciprocating his love for her.

At long last, Archie got his own. He dreamt for so long to have a feline sibling and it finally came true.

Archie and B are completely opposite. They have so many differences but they complement each other in so many ways. They share nothing in common, except their love for one another.
