Wakeboarding, just like any other sport, is hard to master. People can struggle with balancing, and it’s expected to fall off the board during practice. That’s why it’s surprising to see a dog perform well in this sport.

A dog named Rally became popular with tourists because of his exceptional skill at wakeboarding. He can stay upright on the wakeboard even at extremely high speeds. Even on sharp turns, Rally never falls off and makes the sport look easy.

Rally wasn’t a good wakeboarder right off the bat. He learned the sport because he wanted to always be near his owner, a wakeboard instructor. Before learning the sport, Rally was sitting around watching from a distance. The owner didn’t like seeing Rally like that, so he started teaching him how to wakeboard.

The owner was surprised by how fast Rally learned wakeboarding. The dog learned to ride a wakeboard faster and better than most beginners. Such a feat made the owner realize that dogs have an advantage in maintaining their balance since they stand on four legs.

If Rally is not wakeboarding, he will find other ways to distract himself. Unfortunately, those ways can be rather destructive. For example, he’d chew on flip-flops and steal random items. That’s why his owner often allows him to wakeboard for hours, so he’s too tired to chew things by the end of the day.

Rally is not fazed by the attention he receives. People would watch him ride the waves for hours. Moreover, he would still get attention while resting because he sits upright on a chair like a person.

Since Rally’s owner is a wakeboarding instructor, having him around helps attract potential students. Furthermore, tourists who see Rally become curious to try the sport for themselves, even for a short while. Overall, he inspires various people to try the sport he loves.
