Who would have thought that a picture of a small dirty puppy would become viral and make her a famous online celebrity? But this is exactly what happened to a former stray pup named Injeolmi.
Farmer’s daughter
This accidental sensation was rescued by a family who saw her struggling while being carried by a strong water current inside a ditch.
They were tending their apple farm then when they heard small continuous cries. They rushed right to the source of the noise and were shocked to see the pup. They immediately scooped her out.
Taking pity on the poor pup, the farmer’s daughter decided to take her in. Unfortunately, though, she has never had a pooch so she doesn’t know how to care for her. So she went to the internet and started asking for help from an online community.
She asked basic dog care questions and posted the pup’s photo. A lot of people replied and contributed their knowledge. And soon, her posts and photos became viral. it helped that the pup looked so adorable and irresistibly cute.
Seeing that a lot of people were interested in her new pet, the young owner decided to make him his own Instagram account.
Injeolmi started having fans and tons of followers. They would wait each day for photos and updates of her daily life. This account grew to have more than 800,000 followers. And amazingly, even famous Korean celebrities started following her.
Some even took selfies with the adorable pooch and posted them on their own social media accounts, which are followed by millions of fans.

His popularity continued to rise when major broadcast channels and countless Youtube channels started featuring her. This has led to many different endorsement and modeling contracts. Injeolmi is the first dog to be put on a credit card and she has also graced the covers of books and snack packs.
But fame has not gone to her head. When she is not on a meet and greet with fans, she is at home in a rural village in the countryside. She loves walking the field when she is bored and eating apples from their orchard.
To her family, she is just a simple, yet naughty, rural dog that loves her family so much.
