The Hope For Paws organization got a text one day about two dogs. These dogs were living outside of the hospital and needed help.
Loreta and Eldad headed to the location. The two will try to rescue the dogs. When the rescuers got to the area, it was more challenging than they expected.
The dogs ran when they saw them approach. It was a difficult rescue because they were in a parking area. And It’s always challenging to catch a scared dog in an open space.
One of the dogs was caught by some guy, and the other one was running away from them. The rescuers focused on the loose dog for now. They tried to catch her on the parking lot, but they were unsuccessful.
When the dog ran to some bushes, the rescuers thought that they had it cornered. Unfortunately, they were wrong. It went to a nearby park.
As Eldad was trying to catch her, he noticed that she knows how to follow commands. When Eldad asked her to sit, she did. That’s when Eldad was able to approach her. The dog even showed her belly to Eldad. This level of trust towards someone who was chasing her was amazing.
The dog was brought to the hospital then. Two guys also brought in the other dog. The dogs turned out to be a mother and daughter tandem. The rescuers named the mom, Tiffy, and the daughter, Sophie.
Tiffy was very grateful to be reunited with her daughter. Now, there is more to be thankful for as rescuers try to help treat Sophie. Sophie broke her leg, trying to jump off a couch.
Because of an amazing doctor, Sophie is all better now. After a couple of months, Sophie has fully recovered.
These two are very fortunate that they were adopted together. They now have the same forever families.
