Have you experienced a certain situation where you end up doing more than what’s expected of you? It’s like something incredible happens aside from the one you are expecting to take place. This is probably how this journalist felt when he went to do his job at an animal shelter.
The journalist got an assignment which required him to visit an animal shelter to cover a story. He went there thinking that it will be just like his other tasks. But, he didn’t know that he’s in for a great surprise.
A random dog at the shelter came up to him. It’s as if the pup was waiting for him for a very long time. The dog grabbed one of the journalist’s leg and decided not to let the man go.
This video clip shows how the pup hugged the journalist while he is being stroked on the head. The pup remained standing on his feet while he leaned close to the journalist as if saying that he doesn’t want to let go anymore.

The journalist decided to keep petting the pup because the poor creature kept hugging his leg. The pup also looked at him with such adorable and loving eyes.
The clip has been shared on different social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, and Reddit. It received lots of positive feedback, and people are saying how heartwarming the clip is.
The touching story didn’t end up with what’s on the video clip. Eventually, the journalist decided to take the adorable pup home with him. Who could have resisted the dog after he showed trust and affection, right? It’s a very happy ending indeed for the two.
This duo will probably remain great friends just like how they look like on the video. Hopefully, more people will get inspired to adopt shelter dogs just like what the journalist did for the pup.
