There are times that our furry friends don’t want to share toys, treats, food, and even attention! When someone steals our dog’s favorite human or item away from them, they’ll become jealous. Sometimes, jealousy in dogs leads to growling or excessive barking.
A viral video shows a charming white poodle who gets a compliment from his human mommy. He received praise about how good he looks that day, how beautiful his haircut is, and how cute he is. The white poodle seems to love the attention, assured that his mommy loves him and not anybody else. Later on, the white poodle’s mom shifted her focus to another “dog.” She started stroking its brown fur, saying that he’s such a sweet dog and that he’s also cute. It’s indeed true that the “brown dog” looks adorable — only that he’s not a real dog, but a stuffed toy!
The white poodle didn’t like the sudden admiration his human mommy gave the stuffed toy, so he immediately growled and barked at his enemy. He still has no clue that he’s angry at a stuffed toy! Every time the white poodle’s mom touches and compliments the fake dog, the white poodle won’t stop growling and barking.
Poodles are known to be loyal dogs, and they get close to their family members quickly. They like to get praise, positive reinforcements, physical touch, and they love attention. That’s probably the reason why the white poodle in the video won’t share his human mommy to anyone else. He’s furious towards his contender, but his reaction’s hilarious and cute at the same time!
