Dogs enjoy eating any food that they find. They don’t care whether they’re munching on a vegetable or a flower as long as they’re eating something that they find delicious.
That is why one pet parent was stunned as her Golden Retriever ate the flower she offered it. Although the dog sniffed the bright petals at first, it soon found them too alluring not to chew on.
At the beginning of this confusing video clip that the fur mom shared on the internet, one can see a woman’s hand clutching yellow flowers she collected from the garden. Yet, Mom did not like to enjoy the beautiful flowers alone so she beckoned Stella, her Golden Retriever, to enjoy it with her.
Stella, being the obedient pooch, went straight to her fur mom. She continued walking until she reached where Mom was seated.
And as soon as Stella was near her fur mom, she started sniffing the yellow flowers that her fur mom was holding. This continued for several seconds before the naughty Goldie did the unthinkable.
Stella licked and then chewed the gorgeous flowers before Mom could say anything. As if the flowers weren’t enough, Goldie attempted to pull the entire stalks that were in her mother’s hand.
Mom held the flowers with all her strength to prevent Stella from doing what she had planned to do, and she was even confused about what her pet was doing. However, because the Golden Retriever was too persistent, Mom decided to just let Stella have the flowers.
Stella, pleased with her victory, trotted away to eat her new snack.
Stella’s antics with the flowers were rather amusing. You will have to continue watching the dog doing what it does to witness how wonderfully she handled the flowers.
