Grease actor John Travolta and his eleven-year-old son Ben recently welcomed the newest member of their family! The only four-legged guest at the recently concluded Oscars, an adorable puppy named Mac N Cheese, is now living his best life in Travolta’s spanking Florida home.

The 68-year-old Hollywood A-lister took to Instagram to share the milestone. The canine took part in the Academy’s tribute to the late Betty White. He also tagged Jamie Lee Curtis and Paw Works, the non-profit organization that made the puppy’s homecoming possible.

During the Oscars’ In Memoriam segment, Jamie Lee Curtis went on stage carrying the adorably named pup while discussing White’s legacy and commitment to helping animals in need. According to the actress, White was not just a Golden Girl – she was a legend whose presence brought brightness to every room she stepped in. She also left smiles to everyone who watched her on-screen.

Aside from this, Curtis also recounted how the veteran actress cared for our four-legged friends for almost a century. She said that the greatest gift they could give the late Betty White was opening their hearts and homes to rescue dogs like Mac N Cheese from Paw Works.

Travolta was utterly smitten with Lee-Curtis’ appeal, who co-starred with him in the 1985 movie Perfect. After their reunion at the awards show, Curtis headed home but shared via her Instagram account how Mac N Cheese had a magical ending that night. Somebody texted her a photo of Travolta cuddling up next to the little canine in the Dolby Theatre’s backstage green room.

Curtis said it was beautiful to see the actor with the dog but added that her former co-star and son decided to take the darling canine home. She concluded that it was an emotional end to the story and the perfect tribute to the late Betty White. The grand gesture shone a light and amplified the work that Betty and the guys at Paw Works do in supporting animals and connecting them with the loving, permanent homes they deserve. The actress also said that providing these animals a home is one of the most important actions we can take as humans.

Meanwhile, Curtis was not the only one excited about the latest addition to the Travolta family.

Travolta’s 21-year-old daughter Ella took to the comments section of her dad’s social media post to drop a bunch of heart emojis to express love for the furry pal. The family already has a platoon of other pets, including another canine named Jinx, whom John honored last August.

You are one lucky pup, Mac N Cheese! Happy tails to you and the Travolta family!
