Some dogs can have a serious sweet tooth, just like this dog named Lolita. She just can’t hide her excitement whenever her owner, Catharina Chagas, gives her delicious treats. But when she feels she’s not invited to eat one, she takes matter into her own hands.
It was Chagas’ birthday, and to celebrate it, she decided to make herself a cake. She then invited her friends to join her on a Zoom video call to celebrate with her since they could not attend personally. Everything was going just as planned, but little did she know that her dog, Lolita, was cooking something up because she failed to invite her to join in on the fun.
When Chagas went out for a while to give her building’s doorman a cake slice, Lolita decided to serve herself some of that cake. All the time, she was wondering why her mom forgot to give her a slice. So she thought she’d just do it herself while she’s away.
Lolita was all eyes on the cake that when she got near it, she immediately munched on it. At first, she thought about getting only a few bites. But it was too delicious, so she got carried away without realizing that people from the other side of the call were watching her.
One of Chagas’s friends, Orlando Colavolpe Neto, could not help but laugh at the sight of the sneaky dog. He could do nothing to stop Lolita from eating the cake. And when she dragged it down to the floor, Neto and the rest of Chagas’s friends who were also in the call could only watch in surprise.
All the time Lolita was eating, Chagas’s friends were desperately trying to stop her, but Lolita seemed like she’s lost in her own world. And when Chagas came back, she was confused as to why the cake was on the floor. Her friends could only laugh as they showed her the video of her dog while stealing the cake.
Chagas laughed a lot, too, while looking at the video clip. It sure was a memorable birthday celebration. And while she couldn’t find herself angry with her dog, she learned a valuable lesson from this, and that is to never forget about Lolita’s sweet tooth.
