The storm brought fear and worry to some people, but they felt a little relieved, especially after hearing Belle’s story. It’s as if a miracle happened amidst the calamity which is quite reassuring to know.

Alberta has been experiencing a few thunderstorms and constant cloudy weather. Within a week, there have been two tornado warnings. Unfortunately, this recent tornado touched down and caused a bit of a disaster to some areas.

The tornado was rated EF-1 which reached to 138 to 177 kilometer per hour, according to Environment Canada. It was just a thunderstorm watch at first. However, around 5:00 PM, officials released the tornado warning.

The storm damaged a couple of properties which include a shopping building, a barn, and a residential property. After the tornado, people are still on standby for extreme weather alerts. People are recommended to watch or listen to the news to stay updated.

The meteorologists of Environment Canada are still monitoring thunderstorms which might cause huge hail, heavy rain, and extreme gusts of wind. Albertans are advised to stay safe and alert at all times.

Hopefully, no person or animal will get hurt during this severe storm. Just like Belle, everyone should remain at home with their loved ones.
