A rejected dog from Florida and later found in Michigan, soon found her forever home after she became adopted by her new owner. The pit bull mix puppy received hundreds of offers after her story became viral online. The canine named Blue came home with the man from Michigan state who first filled out the application form among the many aspirants.

Blue’s story received outrage and incited calls from the people all over the country with offers to take Blue in. Emails, phone calls, and messages in social media flooded the inboxes of the Humane Society of Midland County. Logan Smith, an animal care technician of the H.S.M.C., relayed that the animal finally went to a man from Michigan who applied first.

The woman from Grand Blanc City, Michigan, who found Blue shivering and cold, narrated that it’s hard not to get attached to the animal. She wanted to adopt her herself but already owns four dogs. The woman ultimately decided to bring her to the Midland shelter to help find a more suitable owner.

Blue separated from her original owner in Lehigh Acres, Florida, but ended up somehow in Midland, Michigan. The shelter located the owner through the microchip embedded on the animal and arranged to take her back by driving almost 1,500 miles to Florida. However, the original owner declined to take her back in upon arrival.

The volunteer driver felt heartbroken for Blue. She described the animal to be playful and one who likes to give kisses. She also mentioned the few quirks she noticed from Blue, like her bent tail and hind leg that sometimes get spasms. People who read her story fell in love with her charm.

The shelter declined to release the name of the person who adopted Blue initially but soon posted a lovely picture of the pair. The animal shelter felt happy for Blue as she soon found someone to cherish her unconditionally. It all ended well for Blue as she now enjoys her new home.
