A kind samaritan discovered a critically injured dog along the side of the road one gorgeous day. She loaded the puppy into her car and drove her to a local animal shelter.
The dog was given treatment and care by a veterinarian and had surgery to repair her two fractured legs. Faith was the name given to the dog later on.
Melissa, a foster parent, offered to look after Faith while she recovered from surgery. Despite the amazing fact that she can actually barely stand, the little bud likes to lick and snuggle — such a sweet puppy! She had broken two femurs and had a slim chance of walking again.
The dog quickly recovered and made every effort to walk on her own. By the second day, Melissa had let Faith run around the yard to stretch her legs.
Faith began barking as well, indicating that she was feeling much better. She worked her way up the stairwell to give herself a greater task.
The dog returned to being a normal dog after only two weeks! The fur ball began to be mischievous and gnawing on things became her hobby.
Melissa’s husband showed the dog how to sit in just five seconds. She also interacted with their daughter as well as the other pets. Melissa even proclaimed that the puppy was a really pet and that it was not hard to love her.
Then came Faith’s adoption day. Kathy is a grieving dog owner who lost her beloved Mac last year. She reasoned that getting a new pet would help her heal. And when she spotted Faith on the internet, she fell madly in love with her!
Their initial meeting went off without a hitch. Kathy’s and Faith’s outspoken personalities worked nicely together. On her escapades, this fur mom has a new companion!
Faith felt so welcomed and at ease when they arrived at Kathy’s house. She had her own comfortable bed and had met her new feline siblings, Boody and Minx. Kathy and Faith even discovered that in her new backyard, she enjoyed playing fetch.
Faith’s life experiences were difficult, but she was able to overcome them, thanks to the love and support of those who actually cared about her.
She really is a strong dog who perseveres in the face of adversity!
