Bentley is a French bulldog who has an irrational fear of everything. He is cautious and worried if something is where it shouldn’t be. Bentley fears everything from ladders, cable wires, and even hallways. He walks in and out of rooms backward as a coping mechanism, shuffling his back legs like Michael

Jackson’s moonwalk dance. Bentley’s biggest irrational fear is shiny floors. If he sees a shine on a floor, he will avoid it at all costs, looking for a rug to step onto for safety. However, one thing Bentley is NOT afraid of is flying!

When his owner asks if he wants to fly in the helicopter, the bulldog lets out an excited bark. Bentley hops on board, and the bulldog looks adorable with his earmuffs! Bentley starts in the back seat of the helicopter, but it’s clear the bulldog wants to be up in front where all the action is. Bentley’s owner refers to him as his co-pilot; now, they do everything together. They take helicopter trips to the snow and go sledding together.

Bentley’s owner is a pilot, and the bulldog loves to come along for the ride. Bentley’s owner has been flying for twenty-six years. Still determining how the bulldog would react to being in the air, Bentley’s owner started by giving the bulldog a short plane ride. Their first flight was hovering around the airport. Bentley was surprisingly calm!

The bulldog loves the earmuffs because they give him an excuse not to listen. Too funny! Bentley’s owner is proud of the bulldog for going on adventures and is happy he’s found something the dog isn’t afraid to do. Happy flying, Bentley!
