Two of the most perfect things in the world are adorable puppies and lovely butterflies. What would make the world an even better place? Having these two as playmates, of course!
Lúcia Kohl Dalmolin recently caught a little dog playing out on the front porch of its own home. During this playtime, the puppy captured the attention of a butterfly fluttering around and about near where the dog was. To say that the canine was excited to have found a new friend would be an understatement.
As seen in the video shared by Dalmolin, the two new friends started playing with one another. It seemed as if it didn’t matter to them that they were two highly different animals- so long as they were having fun and playing with each other. What an adorable sight!
What made this moment even more remarkable was how the characteristics of the two animals were highly contrasting, yet somehow, they made it work. Dogs are known to have high energy levels mainly released through running and playing. Butterflies have the reputation of being “chill” animals that are constantly on the move to find food and decorate the environment with their bright wing colors.
However, in the video, it seemed as if the butterfly matched the tiny puppy’s eagerness. Although the origin of the video was considered in interpreting the butterfly’s actions- Brazil,
where it is said that some butterflies land on animals to drink their tears – this partnership between the two animals is still among the most adorable happenings this week.
Indeed, no other pairing is quite as odd as these two friends.
