Recently, a video clip – which you can view below – was posted online that showed a German Shepherd chewing on a picture frame.

This doggo’s name is Mercy, and she got busted with the help of a Ring app.

Her hooman mom wondered if her dog and cat were involved, so she installed this bit of awesome technology to catch the culprit once and for all.

In the video, you can see Mercy carefully nibbling on a picture frame on the floor. She was so into it, unaware that she’s been made, and she’s about to find out in the next couple of seconds.

All of a sudden, the dog heard her mom’s voice, and the poor pet nearly got whiplash. Mercy was so startled because she didn’t see mom anywhere near her!

The lady yelled the dog’s name, and the canine’s reaction was downright comical. The German Shepherd knew her gig was up.

Busted

Mom sounded ticked off. It wasn’t hard to guess that the frame was destroyed. Anyone else would’ve been angry, but not this pet’s parent.

She found the entire situation absolutely hilarious! It’s all thanks to the help of Mercy’s unwitting feline buddy named Ling Ling.

The cat must have thought mom was home and rushed to greet her. The kitty followed mom’s voice, effectively blocking off the view.

Ling Ling bought Mercy precious time, and the dog used the opportunity to abort mission. Wise move on your part, pet, because continuing on that path would have spelled worse for you.

If you’ve never heard of the Ring app, then you’re seriously missing out on some pretty great technology. Gone are the good days when we used those clunky doorbells to signal someone’s presence.

Now, you could use this app to solve mysteries in your own home. Mercy got busted, alright, but we’re glad Ling Ling was there to help!
