A dog sits on the same spot every day for the past twelve to thirteen years. Ddolddol’s mom is a fish vendor, and Ddolddol would watch out for her every single day. Ddolddol would sit on the same spot that gives her a good view of her mom.
Ddolddol would sit across the street and watch her mom the entire day. Ddolddol will run to her mother’s side if she feels that her mother is in any danger.
These two are so close, especially since they only have each other. Because of that, Ddolddol is very protective of her mom.
Ddolddol and her mom would go home together once Ddolddol ‘s mom is done selling for the day. Ddolddol’s mom would cook a delicious meal for both of them when they get home. Whatever her mom eats, Ddolddol would eat the same thing.
These two are so close that Ddolddol’s mom treats her as a daughter. Ddolddol’s mom would feed her first before she goes ahead and eats her meal.
Like any family, there are challenges along the way. Ddolddol’s mom noticed how easily Ddolddol gets exhausted for the past few days. Ddolddol’s mom brought her to the clinic to have her checked.
The vet discovered that Ddolddol’s left eye was already completely blind. Cataract has developed on her right eye as well.
It can be corrected through surgery, but with Ddolddol’s age, it is too risky. If they put her under general anesthesia, she might not make it.
Ddolddol’s mom became very emotional when she heard about Ddolddol’s condition. She knew that they couldn’t risk surgery. She can imagine losing Ddolddol because of it.
She feels that she can’t live without Ddolddol. They decided not to do the operation because it’s too risky. Since Ddolddol has adjusted to her condition, they will live their lives as they always have.
No matter what their health status is, Ddolddol and her mom will always have each other. They will always be family.
